sglanton
The website stated no RMAs for FPO/APO addresses, however after emailing them an issue with the 16gb flashdrive, they stated that RMA is the best choice of action, and gave me an RMA # #274065. Since I have an FPO AP address, this negates the RMA, correct? So what is my course of action now? Thanks in advance. /R

sglanton
I can try and call tomorrow morning (my time), since it is 307am PST (and 707pm Japan time). Doing some reading here, it seems maybe I need an updated driver. Is there a way to get the driver (I could not find it on your website) for the Flash Voyager 16gb? While it works on XP just fine, maybe this particular driver is what is needed for Vista. Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 9, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 9, 2007 If Vista is asking you for a driver, I would do the following: -Plug in the drive (to a rear USB port which connects directly to the motherboard) -Reboot the system Vista should detect the drive, locate the correct Windows driver and install the device correctly. There is no 3rd party driver needed for XP or Vista machines.
sglanton
The driver is on the flashdrive? According to my laptop, there was nothing on the drive (no files or anything). Either way, Vista still recognizes the drive, but is unable to activate it. Could the driver be sent to me? Thanks for you help!!!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 9, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 9, 2007 There is no driver on the drive, and there is not one needed. The Flash Voyager works with the default Windows USB driver. If the drive is functioning properly on other systems there may not be a problem with the drive itself. If Vista is not installing the device correctly, you may want to reinstall the Windows Default USB driver to resolve this issue. You can do this by right-clicking "My Computer" and selecting the "Properties" option. Next click the "Hardware" tab and select "Device Manager." This will open a new window which displays all your hardware connected to your system. Next, scroll down to "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" and expand this selection. You should see your USB controller listed here, double click your USB controller, and click the "Driver" tab, then click "Update Driver." A "Browse" window should open where you can then select the driver folder by browsing to "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers."
