DerekT
I have a virtualized workstation with Linux, WinXP 32/64, Win2K, Win Server 2003, Vista Ultimate 32/64. This is necessary for an ability to function machine to machine when attempting to repeat errors and testbed. Walking people through their issues is a hobby of mine as well so this helps maintain a two-way communication when on the same platform. I have found VISTA to be unstable/unuseable with many hardware components. Have you tried a non-usb headset? With VISTA, often you have to find an alternative route rather than a fix to the issue. You may have to move to an analogue headset connected via the analogue microphone plug.
Player1984
Hi I managed to solve the problem for now so if anyone seems to have this problem 2 you can provide them with this answer Answer To Solve USB Headsets Malfunction In VIsta 64 Bits My board came with an extra 2 usb for the back of the Tower, I read that installing the extra usbs seems to be helping with this problem, I did it and seems to be working perfectly. I will post if problem continues Thank You All
DerekT
Thanks for the information on this fix. You can run them off of the motherboard USB header at the back, but not the motherboard usb header in the front?

DerekT
Nevermind it bsuted again!! Im so frustrated with this problem ill guess ill geta nother non usb headset That would be my course. For the amount of frustration time, it just is not worth it to trouble-shoot such a minor issue and doubly so with VISTA.
