zoid42
I'm using an Abit IP35 Pro with BL2KIT12864AA804.000 memory. The mobo wants to run it at 5-5-5-18 1.8 volts, but I was under the impression the SPD should have been programmed for 4-4-4-12 2.200 volts for this memory. I tried reconfiguring the board to run at 4-4-4-12 2.200 volts, and it worked. By the way, I left the command rate at auto, and it picked 2T. Memtest86 shows exactly the same memory data rate at either setting. Which is preferable? I had seen a post recommending software for measuring the memory performance, but now I can't find it. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 8, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 8, 2007 The SPD will usually not be programmed with performance settings, you would need to set those manually. Sandra and Everest are good programs to benchmark your memory performance.
