blugenie
I havn't got the temperature of the PSU. All I know is that the PSU is running very hot after some time of playing. I'm nearly burning my fingers when I thouch it. Is this normal? I've got two 120mm casefans(one in the front and one in the back) so it really wouldn't go so hot right? Oh, oh yeah. And I tested if the PSU fan was running, but it's running at a low RPM... :/
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 8, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 8, 2007 The PSU should not be hot to the touch. To see if the PSU is heating up on its own, or if the heat of your system is causing it to heat up you could remove the PSU from the case and run your system. If the PSU is still hot then let's get it replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part! Or Tech Support Express” and we will be happy to replace them or it! Please make sure you let them know you are from the forum!
