cgavin
CRC errors in application. Reset mobo defaults. Memtest86 diagnostic: Failing address 0001a03c050 (416.7mb) Good: 1a03c050 Bad: 1a02c050 Error bits: 000100 Product info: Corsair Value Select Serial: 4586 - 0549116 - 0 - 981218 POR 040596 ALT 03076 I am in the UK/Europe. Will Corsair refund my postage when the part is confirmed as defective? I am concerned about the costs; being a Value unit worth < £15 I feel a little dissapointed about the so warranty being worth much if you take into account depreciation and high transit expenses here in the UK. Anyway, let's get the ball rolling. What's the situation McMemory Dude/s?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 5, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 5, 2007 I would recommend testing the modules one at a time, to see if both modules are failing. If both fail individually there is likely some other issue. If one passes and the other fails then Let's get them or it replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part! Or “Tech Support Express” and we will be happy to replace them or it, please note that you are posting from the forum! For information regarding the RMA, please contact our customer service at 888-222-4346 and dial "0", (510) 657-8747 or email rmaservice@corsairmemory.com.
