Kassem
I have seen a ton of forum posts and RMA'd ram due to incompatibility issues with PC4400 DDR550 ram and DFi Lanparty motherboards. Is this ram registered? If so, the reason for SOME people having problems and others not having problems is that they could be using OPTERON processors. I just recently read that opterons are completely incompatible with registered ram. Now, I dont know if this particular ram is registered, so if it is not, well then this whole post was worthless. Awaiting your reply PS - the ram DOES work, but not at near stock timings. It has to also be run at t2. I'm running at 3-4-4-10, t2, and cannot go above 1-1 200mhz ratio. Anything tighter or faster results in BSOD and many, many random restarts.
Yellowbeard
No, this RAM is not registered. Also, the DFI MOBOs have had some difficulty with certain ICs in the past. This was true with all memory using these specific ICs and not exclusive to Corsair.
Kassem
what does IC mean?
Yellowbeard
IC = Integrated Circuit. In this case, an IC is the actual RAM chip on the memory module.
Kassem
This is some of the best ram out there!! Sucks that it has random compatibility issues with my motherboard. No way that this falls under some sort of warranty/exchange program, is there?, considering this ram was at one time recommended by DFI and corsair to work together. :(

I said it is VERY difficult to tune due to the complex DFI bios. Have you tried the OCing guides or databases I recommended? Also, can you list ALL of the information from the stickers on your memory?
