tlyng
Hi, I just recieved my memory from Corsair - two 1gb memory modules for my Toshiba L100-186 Equium laptop. The problem is that they dont work simultaneously - i've tried each memory module in each memory slot seperately and they both have no problems and are working fine. When I put my old 256 in one slot, and a new 1gb in the other slot - they work together, but not when I put both the 1gb and the other 1gb in to the slots - I get a blue screen error with windows originally it said isapnp.sys (or .drv) had not been found or was corrupted - then I take out ANY 1gb module and keep one it and it works fine? Can someone help me here? Do I need to format and reinstall etc. Many thanks, ps. very useful forums!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 4, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 4, 2007 Please make sure that you have the latest Bios version and then load setup/optimized defaults and then test with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 8, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 8, 2007 Did you happen to check if there is a BIOS update for your note Book? If not I would check and see if there is. Other than that we can try and replace the modules if you like, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them.
