hoookechos Posted October 3, 2007 Share Posted October 3, 2007 I already have 1 GB of TWINX1024-3200C2 (2x512) and Id like to add 2 more GB of TWINX2048-3200C2PT ... they all have the same timing of 2-3-3-6 3 GB total in 4 slot intel MB does this sound ok to do? DerekT Posted October 3, 2007 Share Posted October 3, 2007 It's never a good thing to mix and match modules as often the attempt is a frustrating experience, doubly so with Intel mainboards. If you already have the DRAM, then you can test it out to see if you get lucky. You might well just have to run the 2 X 1GB modules in your system.
