drummerego
After a windows vista ultimate update, i restarted and my mobo gave a Video card error (one long, 2 short), everything came on except the monitor. After 30 min of messing w/ the cables and the video card, i pulled out one of my corsair ram and restarted and the comp worked. I put the bad ram in another similar computer, and same problem. Will a Vista update short out 1 out of 2 sticks of ram? All drivers are up to date, i did a restore point in vista, same problem, damage was done. thx for any advice

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 1, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 1, 2007 I would test the modules individually on both of your systems. If you get one of the modules consistently failing, then we will need to get you a new set! If both modules fail there may be a different issue.
