jdh2000
We're going to begin using Flash Padlock flash drives in our medical practice IF the lithium battery is easy to replace. I have one now, and I tried to get to the battery without success. Any pointers on how to do this without breaking anything would be greatly appreciated. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 28, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 28, 2007 Actually we do not suggest replacing the battery, we were going to before , but because of the way they are assembled it would not be suggested. However, they have a 2 year warranty and if they ever fail we will replace them.
capatt
Hello I just received my Flash Padlock and it clearly states that the battery lasts approximately 3 years and is user replaceable with a cr2032 3v lithium battery. There's a whole section on how to replace the battery and I even read a review where it was done. Not real easy, but possible. Why the contradiction? Once dead, it's certainly worth a try. Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 1, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 1, 2007 As I stated we were going to allow that, but some of the packages got out before they were changed.
