thsmrtone1
Is there any known compatibility issue with this motherboard and memory combination? Whenever this ram is installed, the comp never makes it to post. Internal speaker beeps 1 long and 2 short. Monitor never activates and turns on. Ram from a different manufacture works perfectly fine on motherboard. If there is a compatibility issue, is it possible to request an RMA to get an equivalent (but working) stick of ram for my computer?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 27, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 27, 2007 No there should be no problem, please try and reset the BIOS with just our modules one at a time and then load setup defaults and set the tested settings manually and test them one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and lets make sure one is not failing. And with most ASUS MB'S you have to disable legacy USN when running any memory test.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 28, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 28, 2007 If you have tested the system with other memory and it will post then, let's get them replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them.
