7-id
My friend has an ASUS Crosshair motherboard and 1 stick of CM2x1024-6400Pro Ram. We adjusted the timings to 5-5-5-12 and clock speed to 800Mhz. When we went into Windows XP, we used SISOFT Sandra Proffessional to check the speed and timings of the ram, the timings were listed correctly but the the speed was rated at 738 Mhz(2x369). What gives? Is there something that we're missing? The voltage is reading 1.96v
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 27, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 27, 2007 Some CPU's will show that type of issue because of the multiplier in the CPU, but you can try and manually set the CPU and memory frequency. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 27, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 27, 2007 Just set the memory frequency at 800 MHz and set the CPU manually and Set AI Over clock Tuner to User Define or Manual and set the memory Voltage to 2.0 Volts.
