kicranym
Hello, I just recently purchased a 2GB 2x1GB DDR2 Corsair Dominator Dual Channel kit. I have been going through alot of troubleshooting and believe I have come to a conclusion on my problem. I had both Corsair DIMs plugged into slots (A1 and B1) on my ASUS P5K-E/WiFi-AP motherboard. My unit would not post. I took one stick out and left one in the A1 slot and unit was able to go into bios. Took that stick out and placed the other stick in the A1 slot and unit was not able to post. I tried different motherboards and different vid cards before I finally came back to this troubleshooting process. What is my next step in diagnostic and/or receiving a replacement DIM. Thanks! kicranym
Yesterday, along with creating this thread I submitted an RMA with this Post ID number via the RMA Form link. Do I need to send both sticks, or just the DIM that is faulty? Also, thanks for the speedy reply!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 24, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 24, 2007 I would recommend that you have both modules replaced so that we can return you a matched set.
