corsair xms and their incapability of CAS2

hearing good things about this forum and Ramguy, i came to share my concern. im a corsair fan. my first ram choice when building anyone's computer is XMS. but i have noticed some cases where C2 level XMS just cannot do CAS2. the first case is with two CMX256A-2700C2 in MSI K7N2G-LISR. they would not do CAS2 DDR333. only when i lower frequencies i can use CAS2. the second case is with one CMX512-3200C2PT in Shuttle SN85G4. it would not do CAS2 DDR400. this time i didnt even bother trying to get it to run at CAS2. i am concerned that corsair just cannot bring quality that i expect. any explanations?

All of our memory is tested at its rated speed before leaving the factory. If you have having a problem getting it to run on a certain platform I would suggest posting in the General Questions section, you may get feedback from others with the same platform that will help you. Our memory has no problem running the rated speed or timings.
