JIB89
Hi RamGuy As you see in the topic my question will be if my ASUS P5N32-E SLI PLUS will work with (1 pair) of TWIN2X2048-6400C4 in dualchannel mode? And also if it will be possible to buy one more pair of TWIN2X2048-6400C4 and run the system in "dual dualchannel mode"? One more thing will the RAM run at 800Mhz and the FSB at 1333Mhz as specified from the manufacturer. My system configuration is: MB: ASUS P5N32-E SLI PLUS CPU: Intel C2D E6750 RAM: TWIN2X2048-6400C4 X 1 (One pair) GPU: ASUS GF 8800GTS 320MB PSU: Cooltek CT500 500W ATX12V V2.2 Thanks a lot //Proud corsair user
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 20, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 20, 2007 With that MB with 4 modules you will be limited to DDR667 sorry but that is the limit of the chipset.
JIB89
Will it have any remarkable preforamnce loss to run the in 667Mhz mode or will be as good as before with the difference of more RAM ?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 20, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 20, 2007 You probably will not notice much difference but in a memory Bench Mark they will show about 1-6% drop in memory performance.
JIB89
Well fair enough, for that MB price 1-6% is okay  . Have a great day and tkx a lot RAMGUY.
