twinx 1024(2) pc3200 problems

Hello I think my ram is dead. I've had the modules for about 3 years now and they have ran fine for the most part. There are (4) 512 sticks which came in matched pairs of twinx pc 3200. They read on the side CMX512-3200. One set is version 4.3 and they other is 4.2 . My motherboard is an Asus A8V E deluxe with an AMD 3500 processor. I know that there can be problems with mixing versions but they worked fine for 3 years. If I turn on the computer it will barely post and if it makes it to the windows load up it immediately blue screens and restarts. I can't read the error on the blue screen because it switches off so fast. I've tried the ram in another computer and it did pretty much the same thing. I relaxed the timings, increased voltage, lowered speed, etc to try to get them to be stable but have had no such luck. I also tried them one at a time and they mostly dont work. I'm thinking I need an RMA if possible. Thanks for your time.

Please make sure that you have the latest Bios version and then load setup/optimized defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.75 Volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, XMS2700C2 Cass 2-3-3-6 for example or if you have Value Select "BY SPD" and then test the module/'s one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
