Duke79
Hi Ram Guys, I posted this message in the wrong forum the first time ... sorry about that. I am having a problem with my Corsair memory. I have had a twin pack of CM2X1024-6400C4 (XMS6404v1.2) installed for a while in a system using the ASUS P5W DH Deluxe motherboard and it seemed to operating properly with RAM settings of 4-4-4-12. My system hung up yesterday and it would not boot (not even reach the POST routine) after the hang-up. The power supply would provide power to the motherboard and fans, but then nothing happened. No POST routine, no monitor start-up ... absolutely nothing. I tried trouble-shooting several different things and finally tracked it down to one of the Corsair Memory modules. If I remove the memory module (SN# 491969 0633176-2) the system will boot fine with just the single stick of memory. If I replace that module with the one I removed -- back to nothing. I can't check the memory stick because the system won't even post to bios with it installed. Anything I'm missing here before I ask for an RMA? Thanks for your help! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 17, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 17, 2007 Make sure you have the memory voltage set to 2.1 volts in the BIOS. If you have already set this and you are still having the same issues then let's get them or it replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part! Or “Tech Support Express” and we will be happy to replace them or it, please note that you are posting from the forum!
