caldor78
I just bought a new system and after putting it all together, I've been running into a ton of different bluescreens and system halts. I've tried to switch out most parts and even had a new motherboard sent to me, but even with this new one, I still get the same errors. Just wanted to make sure that the motherboard and my memory sticks actually are compatible. The QVL list says that Corsair XMS2-6400C4 are ok, but I bought the 6400C4D. Are they the same? CrazyOleg
6400C4D is the same part as the 6400C4, the Dominator version just has different heat spreaders. With these modules make sure you have memory voltage set to 2.1 volts.
caldor78
Thank you. Any tips on other memory settings? I got 2 pair of TWIN2X2048-6400C4D (4gb total). Since I can't get the system spec tab work under user CP, I'll post it below.
