ssthakur
I have a pair of TWIN2X2048-6400C4 that works great, recently purchased another pair of TWIN2X2048-6400C4G to get 4GB on my pc, and since then I have been noticing crashes, hangs etc. The memtest hangs either in test 4 or 5. Is these 2 memory compitable and if not do you recommend either I go all 4 sticks with TWIN2X2048-6400C4 or TWIN2X2048-6400C4G. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 14, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 14, 2007 Some systems may only be able to run the memory at 667Mhz when using 4 modules, this is a limitation of the memory controller in the system. Also make sure you have the memory voltage set to 2.1v with these modules. The "G" indicates that the part is RoHS compliant, however if the modules are different revisions it is possible that you may have some compatibility issues.
