Pedro Arbona
Hello, Had a blue screen and microsoft recommended to check memory. Got MEMTES-86 v3.3 and have 5120 errors already. The memory worked until yesterday, when the blue screen occured while surfing the web. The memory was purchased in tigerdirect back in July. The Corsair PN is TWIN2X2048-5400C4 G, and the total of units is 4. What should I do to get this fixed. Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 13, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 13, 2007 Please use http://www.memtest.org and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would suggest setting the memory Voltage to 2.0 Volts and with 4 modules you may have to set the North Bridge or memory controller MCH voltage up +.5V. In addition, with most ASUS MB's you need to disable legacy USB when running any memory test.
