TopGunSF
I purchased a Dominator RAM Fan along with 2 gigs of PC6400 Dominator RAM. I had the RAM modules overclocked to 888.8MHz @ 4-4-4-12. Now that the fans dead is this still safe for this particular RAM? I'm not sure what their max safe temperature is. (Fan started vibrating very badly for a few minutes after computer started.) -Me
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 11, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 11, 2007 Should not be a problem, but if the system is not stable you might lower the over clock untill you get it replaced, let’s get it replaced. Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
