Greetings

I am having a strange problem and wondered if anyone had any insight. Easiest to explain in a summary...

Crucial 256 MB Gizmo! Flash Drive (Formatted either in FAT16 or FAT32, using WIN98 files)

Toshiba Tablet PC - Boots with no problems

HP Desktop Computer - Boots with no problems

HP NC6220 Laptop - Boots with no problems

Flash Voyager 2GB Flash Drive (Formatted either in FAT16 or FAT32, using WIN98 files)

Toshiba Tablet PC - Boots with no problems

HP Desktop Computer - Boots with no problems

HP NC6220 Laptop - Boots to flashing _ cursor and hangs

I am positive the NC6220 BIOS says it is USB 2.0, and the bus speed is the only thing I could think of that might have made a difference. Any suggestions?

Our Flash Drives are made with a USB HUB to provide some other features of design and some devices may not be able to see this type of device properly if it can boot from a HUB. I would check the BIOS of that NB and see if there is any options for the USB device, IE can you set it as a Boot able Floppy or HDD?

And for sure get the latest BIOS for the system.
