RMA request for pc3200llpt

Good morning,

How can I replace my twice memory Kit using manufacturer warranty ?

The module Kit name is : "TWINX2048-3200PRO"

I already check each memory module with Memtest86.

I've got a lot of errors on each module.

I bought it on January of 2006 and I've got no problem at all.

I'm really stopped with my old 512 Mo replacement module.

I'd like to find again my "TWINX2048-3200PRO".

Could you show me the way ?

Best regards,

Damien

If you are getting errors on both modules when tested individually, there may be another issue than the memory. I would recommend that you make sure that you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard and then load optimized defaults and set the Memory Voltage to 2.75 volts and then set the timings to 3-3-3-8 (CAS-tRCD-tRP-tRAS) and then test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! Please allow memtest to run 2-3 passes on each module. If you still get errors, we will be happy to replace them! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.

Make sure when running memtest you have “Legacy USB Support” disabled in the BIOS.

Sorry to be late.

At first I'm sure to have the latest BIOS for my motherboard > P4C800Edeluxe (BIOS Date: 08/04/05 01:00:55 Ver: 08.00.09 - 1024.001)

In a second time I'm not able to change timings ram.

All the settings in my motherboard are the settings by default.

The reason why I checked with memtest is simple.

My computer didn't want to start with any module of the "TWINX2048-3200PRO".

I tried to start with one module and the other one but it was impossible.

That's why I had to check with Memtest.

Then I tried with an old "PC3200 512 Mo Twinmos module" and no trouble yet.

I think my "TWINX2048-3200PRO" modules had enough to leave in France ;): They want to come back home:roll:

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,
