TheIntruder
I'm about the build the following system, and I was considering purchasing the HX620... Abit IP35 Pro motherboard PNY Quadro FX 1500 Pro Video Edition graphics card 4GB Crucial Ballistix BL2KIT12864AA804 PC26400 800MHZ 4-4-4-12 Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0G (1333Mhz) or Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4G (1066Mhz) 2 x Seagate 500GB ST3500630AS SATA300 7200RPM in RAID 1 configuration 1 x Seagate 320GB EIDE 7200RPM 1 x DVD-RW drive EIDE Zalman CNPS9700 NT heatsink/fan I am going to be using this machine primarily for 3D animation (Maya), Adobe After Effects, and some video editing... ok, and the occasional game too. Was wondering whether the HX620 was appropriate... not going to do SLi, so is 3 rails too much? If I only use 2 rails, will the power associated with the third rail be redistributed among the 2 that i do use? Thanks for your feedback.
