one bad stick CM2X1024-8500C5

I have one bad stick of RAM. It gives a "C1" error in my eVGA 680i board. It had been running fine for about 6 months, at 2.1v, and only at 800MHz. (I don't OC my RAM, only the CPU.) I then flashed the board to P30 and powered on. Poof, C1 error on this stick. I tried all combinations of slots and sticks to confirm this bad stick. I even swapped mem from another good machine and it plays in the sick machine. I took the single "bad" stick and put it in the other machine and it gives the same error. The stick is gone.

I have a crunching farm of several machines. (This is why I don't OC the RAM. Crunching performance is strictly a function of CPU overclock.) This was the only one to go poof with the P30 bios update......

How do I proceed?

Regards,

Bob
