Nnyan
OK so I bought a 2GB Voyagar a couple of weeks ago to use on the gf's vista PC (readyboost). First thing I noticed is that with this drive connected is that her shuttle would hang on shutdown and occasionally be very slow booting up. Remove the drive and everything works. So off I go to order another drive (OCZ which works fine) so I go to format this drive and all I get is "drive is write protected". My other drives came with a low level format util that normallly would have taken care of this problem. I installed the Corsair Flash V Util and it will not run on my winxp box. Any suggestions on how I can get this thing formatted?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 23, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 23, 2007 Please try to format the drive from a command prompt with this syntax: Format (X:) /FS:FAT32 /U (X=the drive letter assigned to the Flash Voyager) If you still have problems we can get it or them replaced, please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
