djuka007
Just got another pair of Corsair 4400C25 (in Serbia is next to impossible to find 1GB sticks), and since 4*512 is an incredible burden for mem controler, OC results are not quite as I expected :D:! I'm looking for suggestions for Bios and mem settings to get it to the max (at least 275Mhz) All with experience in this kind of RIG are more then welcome!!! Thx in advance!!! djuka007
And, one more thing... If I use active cooling, can I apply 3V to DRAM voltage?
DerekT
10 X 275 with 2.7v on the ram and 1.5 Vcore. HTT set to 3X. Set your dram to 133Mhz (266MHz). Set your command rate to 2T and your timings to 3-3-3-8. Then tweak from there, lowering voltages and timings until you reach your sweet spot. I have seen ASUS A8N32-SLi make 275MHz 2.5-4-3-6 1T with 4 X 512 PC4400 and a MSI K8N-SLi only make 275 3-4-4-7 2T so it is really dependent on your mainboard. Use Memtest to test all your tweaks. Keep in mind that it is not recommended to make the onchip memory controller to work at a 1T command rate with all four dimm slots populated as they can become somewhat wonky after a time.
