Carlidan
I was wondering if I had a bad ram sticks. I bought it at Fry Electronics. When I boot my system it says pc2-4300. Which is wrong since you do not have any products with the number. I bought it around a year and half. I've just noticed it recently. The ram number is VS2GBKIT533D2. Is the ram counterfeit or what. And is it working properly?
BenchZowner
It's fine, the motherboard reports the PC-XXXX rating depending on the memory divider in use ( most motherboards do ) and the frequency the memory is running at. PC4300 => DDR2-537.5 ( which is fine, as your sticks are DDR2-533 sticks ) ;)
