nuvalevel
Hello just wondering if anyone can help, Ive just purchased some twinx2048-3200c2pt Im getting timings of 3-4-4-8:(: As far as i no i should be able to hit 2-2-2-6 ? I also have a set of corsiar 512-3200c2pt I was able to hit much better timings when using just 2x512 instead of 2x1024 Motherboard is an asus p5gd1 pro. Also if i added the extra 2x512 stick into the sytem would i see any benefits from having 3gig of ram using xp pro.

Wired
1. you posted on a weekend, Corsair's closed on the weekends, hence no Corsair response as of yet. 2. Timings: CAS Latency (tCL): 2 RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3 Row Precharge (tRP): 3 Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6 Memory Voltage: 2.7-2.8 Volts (Warrantied up to, but not over, 2.90 volts) All other settings to defaults. Source: Corsair XMS Qualification and Testing Information As for 3 GB, the benefits of 2 GB in a 2 stick configuration outweigh the benefits 3 GB in a 4 stick configuration in most applications. nuvalevel
Thxs for the reply, I understand the times should be set to CAS Latency (tCL): 2 RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3 Row Precharge (tRP): 3 Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6 But im unable to do this ive set memory to drr 400mhz but thats the only options i see in the bios. When trying to put the timings in manually through RightMark memory the Cas latency refuses to go lower than 3:mad: Whats going on.
