richv
Hello... I'm looking to make sure that I have the appropriate memory configuration for my memory and my board... As expected, I want my premium memory to be running as fast as possible with as much stability as I can. I run VMWare Server on the workstation, so it gets quite a workout... I have four CM2X1024-8500C5D modules (2 2gig kits), and Intel D975BX2 motherboard with an Intel Core 2 Duo E6700. Currently, according to CPU-Z, the memory is running at the following: Frequency: 533 mHz CAS Latency: 5.0 RAS# to CAS#: 5 RAS# Precharge: 5 Tras: 15 Trc: 22 Command Rate: 2T Thoughts? PS - In the BIOS, I have the following in the memory overrides section. All the rest of the items are default (nothing overclocked) Memory Correction: Non-ECC Performance Memory Profiles: <AUTOMATIC> Reference Frequency: <DEFAULT> Memory Frequency: <800 mhz> tCL: 5 tRCD: 5 tRP: 5 tRASmin: 18 Memory Voltage: 1.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 16, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 16, 2007 With that MB I doubt it will run one set at 1066 with out way over volting the Chipset and CPU but with 4 modules you would need to run the memory at DDR667 and I would set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and you should be able to run the timings at Cas 4-4-4-12.
