johnr007
I need some help. I purchased the ASUS P5K3 Deluxe motherboard and the Intel Q6600 Core 2 Quad Processor. I want to try and get the full potential of the memory and ASUS recommended that I contact Corsair. They stated that to get the memory to run at 1333, I need to specify some, or all, of the following settings. Is this correct, and if so, can you assist me with this information? CAS# Latency RAS# to CAS# Delay RAS# Precharge RAS# Activate to Precharge TWR TRFC TWTR TRRD TRTP and Voltage Any information, guidance, or assistance to help me achieve a fast, stable system is greatly appreciated! johnr007
RAM.....Thank you for your reply! Will I see a performance gain and do you recommend I edit these settings in the BIOS. My processor has a FSB of 1066. Am I hurting the memory by not editing the BIOS?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 16, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 16, 2007 No it will not hurt them but for best performance and stability I would suggest setting the memory settings ad Voltage manually.
