Revelmonk
I just built my new computer using corsair hx520, and the asus p5n-e 650i. The problem is it won't boot no green beeps, no post or anything else. Is there a way that I can test to see if it specifically my psu that is not feeding the power, maybe by using the case fans? EliteKiller
Disconnect everything except the cpu, pull the mainboard out of the case, and sit it on a box. Only connect the two ATX power connections to the mainboard. Assuming you have the power cord from the wall into the psu, and psu switch in the on position [ l ], use a paperclip or screwdriver to short the 2 pins for the case pwr switch to initiate power up. What happens?
Revelmonk
Finally after reinstalling the powersw connector about 10 times the green light came on and I was able to turn on the computer, so now I now its not the power supply. Thanks for the help elite
