tongpo Posted August 12, 2007 Share Posted August 12, 2007 please could anybody help me i am new to over clocking and have never done it please could you tell me how to overclock my ram and proccessor in leymans terms my system is as follows. proccessor intel coret 2 quad core 2.4ghz 8mb cache 1066mhz mainboard asus pci express sli nforce 680i sli (c55xe) intel core 2 power supply 550w memory corsair twin 2x2048-6400c3df dominator with dhx technology graphics cards twin 256mb nvidia geforce 8600gt in sli configuration sound card creative labs sound blaster x-fi platinum fatallity champion windows vista ultimate. i am a disabled user and would relish any help you could give me in easy steps please. Go to Advanced Chipset Features then FSB & Memory Config and change: FSB - Memory Clock Mode: Linked FSB (QDR), MHZ: 1185 I did this OC with memory that is slower than yours but if gave me a stable CPU and memory overclock.
