Alpha2Omega
I am not sure if this is the right place to ask about a problem I am having. I just bought a Q6600+Intel S975XBX2 setup. For memory I am using 2 kits of TWIN2X2048-6400C4 i.e. 4x1GB. Going into the bios, in the 'Performance' page, I saw that the memory is running at 5-5-5-18. I tried setting it to 4-4-4-12 (as the memory supports), but didn't get a successful boot. I have reset the bios, and the memory is back to 5-5-5-18. I have the latest available bios from Intel. Please let me know how to run the memory at 4-4-4-12. Is it a voltage issue. Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 10, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 10, 2007 With 4 modules I would suggest DDR667 and set the memory voltage to 2.1 Volts.
