sb98052
Hello, I just bought a Flash voyager 2.0 on newegg.com. When I plug it into one of my 2 laptops (Windows XP and Mac OS X), nothing happens - there's no sign of any activity at all. Is there something I have to do to activate it before I plug it in? Thanks, SB
markthakkar
Hi SB, I've just bought a 2GB Flash Voyager GT myself, from bt.com. When I plugged it into my XP desktop, it was acknowledged straight away, and an Explorer window appeared with a TrueCrypt folder and a TrueCrypt PDF. I double-clicked on the latter to open it – but then I got a 'Document not found' message, and a 'Fault with USB hardware' (or similar) notification, and now neither my desktop nor my laptop acknowledges its existence in any of their USB ports. Has anyone else had this problem? Does this mean the drive is dead? Mark.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 3, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 3, 2007 Does it detect its there? If not try and remove it and then re-insert it. If you continue to have the problem, you need to check with the maker of the NB and make sure it can provide 500 MAmps at 5.0 Volts to the USB ports.
