Enigma
I've looked through the first 5-6 pages of this forum and none of what was suggested for cases such as this solved my problem. I only recently finished putting this computer together, but it will not see the two memory modules for anything. I have tried: - swapping in other DDR RAM but it will only see that chip - updating BIOS (currently revision 1008) - removing one chip - changing the slots the chips were in - resetting the cmos I do not have another box that is capable of testing this memory on so that is not an option. Any suggestions? For reference, the rest of the important hardware is as follows: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256 DDR AMD Athlon XP 3000+
pNell
No support for registered memory with nForce2 chipset. Use unbuffered memory like TWINX512-3200LL.
Enigma
Time to find that receipt and hope tigerdirect takes exchanges then.. For some reason, I'm inclined to think they don't..
