Azureblaze
My specs : E6700 Conroe @ 2.66 ASUS 680I P5N32-E SLI 700W Silverstone BFG 8800 GTX Windows XP 32Bit Mem Timings : 5-5-5-15 2T @ 1066 2.2V I have been a little unstable, so anyway I ran memtest86 1.70: 8hr test = 103 Errors in tests 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7. Most errors in 6 (47) Least errors in 2 (1) All of them seem to appear at the 1130.6 Address range Anyway, my question is, if I need to RMA -- Since this is a matched pair both will have to be RMA'ed correct? Or do you still want me to test with just 1 stick at a time and see if I can isolate which stick it is? Since I get fails in the first pass, I'll go ahead and try 1 stick at a time and update this with the result. Thanks.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 31, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 31, 2007 The point of testing the modules one at a time would be to make sure its not some other issue. If they both pass one up but not in D/C then there is some other problem, most likely power related.
Azureblaze
At same timings and same slot on motherboard: 1st stick : Pass - 0 errors (Ran 3 cycles, with 3 passes) 2nd stick : Fails @ test # 2(2), 3(1), 4(7),5(2),6(8),7(2) - All at 458, one at 474(test 5) (just ran 1 cycle) Do I get an ok to RMA for my matched pair?
