I have the mobo above and I'm having crash/lockups with this memory mainly when I play games like wow and bf2. I have run CPU-Z with these results http://www.lamerc.com/uploads/memory-2933.bmp

and http://www.lamerc.com/uploads/cpu-2933.bmp

Why is my ram running so low? Should I manually increase it or leave it? I have updated my bios to the most current for ASUS. I believe my latency is set too high. I have also run the memtest for 4 hours with no errors being reported. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Well Shadow, it looks like your memory settings are way low for what your running..

Maybe Ram Guy will chime in with what you should have the Ratio, Frequency, and timing set at for it to work properly with your system...

Theses guys got me straitened out a while back on an older system.

Please make sure that you have the latest Bios version and then load setup/optimized defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.1 volts and then set TRC to 24 and the other settings manually to the tested settings, then test with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them one up and or in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.

I ran all the test you suggested, and had already updated the bios to the most current. I did not get any errors from the memtest but I still continue to get hard lockups while playing Wow. I have two extra sticks of the same memore and have gotten the same problem with them. What's my next step?
