BLue screen after installing HX620

I recently got the HX620W power supply to replace my old one because I switched to a video card with higher power requirements. This was my first time replacing a psu so I went about it very carefully and doublechecked everything before switching on my PC. After doing so, however, Windows no longer started up; instead, I got a blue screen with the message: "A problem has been detected and Windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer." I put my old psu back in and everything worked fine again. I did try the new video card using my old psu and experienced no problems, so I'm pretty sure the Corsair psu causes it. Any suggestions what the problem might be, and how this might be solved? Thanks!

I'm on a new HP Pavillion m8080; Asus Leonite motherboard; 2,13 Ghz Pentium dual core; 4gb RAM; nVidia GeForce 7500 LE video card (the old one, the new one is the 8800GTS); Windows Vista Premium.
