Computer not booting up after installation of Corsair XMS2 2GB Kit

Hello, I recently purchased this Corsair 2GB kit and it just arrived today.

A few minutes ago I turned my computer off, unplugged it, took out the old sticks of RAM and popped these two sticks in. I plug the computer back in, press the boot button and wait. Nothing. The fans start spinning and there are the usual whirs and clicks I get as the computer is starting up, but there is no "bleeeeeep" and just a blank screen.

What is going wrong? I checked my motherboard compatibility on this website and I can apparently run anything from PC2-4200 to PC2-8000.

My motherboard is a FOXCONN K8M890M2MA-RS2H SOCKET AM2. According to CPUZ I am currently running two 512mb PC2-4300 (266MHz) sticks, though the labels on the sticks themselves say "PC2-4200".

Today I am upgrading my motherboard to an ASUStek M2N-E (non Sli), Could anyone tell me if I will be able to run my new Corsair RAM on the M2N-E??

Please help T_T

PS: My current system specs are:

FOXCONN K8M890M2MA-RS2H Motherboard

2x 512mb PC2-4200 sticks (1GB Total RAM)

AMD Athlon 64 3800+ CPU

Ati Sapphire Radeon X1950 Pro 256mb
