Wired
Well.... 1. There's no actual QUESTION in your post. 2. Please give people TIME to RESPOND! 2 hours is NOT ENOUGH, especially when this forum is hosted in the USA, and most of the members are in the USA. Most of the country was asleep when you posted both of those posts. Please wait 24 hours before bumping a thread. Also if you want an official response from Corsair, they will be open on Monday. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 9, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 9, 2007 Yes the CWC 1001 will be able to cool that Video Card no problem, and yes you can use 4- Gig of memory just you might be limited to DDR667 or DDR800 with that MB. jacob weber
Dont forget that if you use any Windows 32bit operating system (vista or xp), you will probably only see around 2.75gb available in windows because bios and windows reserves some of that memory (typically 256mb-640mb from each video card). You have to get Vista or XP 64 bit to see all 4gb of it(or at least more of that). I have had Vista home premium 64bit for 1 week now and I have rarely found any 32bit compatiblility issues, though many are found on various forums on the web. So, its a hit or miss on the choice of OS.... Hopethis helps...
