saberoy
What are the recommended bios settings with the Asus Striker Extreme and Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4D? Most people on the forum are saying the default setting should be: Timing: 4-4-4-12 Clock: 2T VDIMM: 2.1 However on the corsair lab website it shows the default setting should be: Timing: 4-4-4-12 VDIMM: 1.9 VCORE: 1.3 I’m am currently using Windows Vista 32bit, and have found reports that Asus Striker Extreme prefers a lower VDIMM setting when running this operating system. Or is it with this motherboard you play around with the bios settings and then memtest and run stress tests to find the right bios settings for your PC components? Currently I installed Windows Vista with the following bios settings: Timing: 4-4-4-12 Clock: 2T VDIMM: 1.9 SLI Ready Memory: Expert
