Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 5, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 5, 2007 You need 4 modules of the same exact model.
JUICE98
no kidding? so they all 4 need to be 1 gig. they are currently the same modle just 2 are 512 as opposed to being 1 gig. guess i will buy 2 more 1 gig sticks then. Thanks

JUICE98
Thanks again. Just put the other 2 sticks in and booted up showing all 4 gigs. only bad thing i guess is my memory rating actually went down on the vista experiance to a 5.0 from a 5.5? dunno why. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 12, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 12, 2007 Keep in mind the memory controller does not access data as respondent when running 4 modules vs 2 modules. I believe the Vista performance rate upon latency and clock cycles. Even though the timings are the same with 4 module the access time for the memory controller will take longer vs 2 modules.
