gamenutt
I purchased and installed 2 x 1Gb ddr 667 corsair value select sticks about 8-9months ago. One of the sticks just went bad...at the time I purchased these corsair wasnt putting heatspreaders on these sticks of ram. And so I installed coolmax ones. When I RMA this stick should I leave these heat spreaders on? As I am afraid I might rip one of the labels. Wasnt sure if it was ok to send ram with non manufacturer heat spreaders still attached. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 2, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 2, 2007 Yes leave the H/S on the module, and I am sorry but you will not get it back. Let's get them or it replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part! Or *New* Tech Support Express” and we will be happy to replace them or it, please note that you are posting from the forum!
