Only SPD work for Twin2X2048-6400 C4

Recommended Posts

I run the XMS2 pair mentioned in the subject on my ASUS P5B Deluxe motherboard (latest BIOS 1101).

I can only use SPD.

When I understood the specifications of this memory module correctly, I should be able to run 4-4-4-12 timing and disable SPD in the BIOS.

As soon as I do this, Windows XP SP2 will not start.

Please advise.
