JEWilson Posted June 22, 2007 Share Posted June 22, 2007 Have a pair of CMX512-3200LL for this board First, are they compatible? Second, are there any known issue with regard to voltage and timing? I installed these to test the memory with MemTest 86 v3.3. The first DIMM installed on its own slot 1 tested ok on its own at 2.5V SPD and timings of 2-3-2-6 Reported no errors with Test 5 and Test 8 20 iterations The second DIMM installed on its own slot 1 tested ok on its own at 2.5V SPD and timings of 2-3-2-6 Second DIMM reports errors numbering the the hundreds with Test 5 and Test 8. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 22, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 22, 2007 Please make sure that you have the latest Bios version and then load setup/optimized defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.8 volts and then test the module/'s one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
