2gb Dominator PC-6400 C4D with Striker Extreme unstable in Duel Channel

I am unable to get the 2gb Dominator PC-6400 C4D to run stable in Dual Channel (A1 + B1) with a Striker Extreme motherboard.

I am able to POST, but Windows Vista is blue screening during startup of windows or playing games. When installing Windows I had to use 1 ram module.

My current BIOS settings are as follows:

BIOS 1102

memory at 800MHz

timmings at 4-4-4-12-2T

memory voltage 2.1

no sli

everything else auto

My PC specs: Intel QX6700, 8800 Ultra, SilverStone PSU 850 Watt.

I have memtest each Ram module one by one and both passed the tests. Temperature of the CPU and video card seem ok.

I have tried moving the RAM modules from A2 and B2 and the blue screening is still occurring.

Currently I am running the RAM modules in slots A1 and A2, so the memory is running in single channel. The system is stable in this configuration.

Any other steps should I try to get it working in dual channel? Thanks

Please make sure that you have the latest Bios version and then load setup/optimized defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.0 volts and set the tested settings for the modules you have and set the CPC/Command Rate to 2T, then test them with http://www.memtest.org! If you get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
