CMX1024-3200C2 bad module

Recommended Posts

Yesterday one of my RAM modules died on me, I got a series of errors on windows media player, firefox, messenger. So I decided to reboot, however it didn't even turn on the keyboard, monitor and mouse. At first I thought it was my video card, I tested it on another pc and it was functioning, I decided to test the ram modules, but only one of them would boot, I tried both modules on different motherboards and different slots, but one of them gives me an error every single time or makes the pc reboot from the bios to the loading screen and back to the bios, after I removed the module everything would go back to normal, but I'd like the experts oppinion before I request a RMA.

This is my current system:

Athlon 64 x2 4200+ 939

GA-K8N Pro-Sli

Corsair XMS3200 CMX1024-3200C2 2x1GB(2GB)

XFX 7900GT XXX Edition.

Nothing's overclocked but the GPU which is factory Oc'ed.

Hope you guys can help me.
