It start for the first time. However, the system cannot be started second time. Something like, "System Configuration Changed"...

How should I proceed?

Thanks!

Hi,

My DELL is 6400 (E1505). Service Tag: 7KGH8BX. I just got this last week.

The ram is Corsair VS1GSDS667D2 G

Serial No.: 285184 and Lot No.: 07220192-0

and

Serial No.: 285331 and Lot No.: 07220192-0

I tried to install either one or both. It does not boot.

When I boot from both, the memory indicated is is few hundred MB only. ???

After I switched back to original two, everything become alright. :[pouts:

Is that they stopped people to buy from others? This is not fair.

Please help.

Thanks!

Best Regards, Michael

Normally it will pop up a message after the memory size has changed. It will prompt you to accept by hitting a key, usually F1.

Put in the Dell memory, rest the BIOS, shut down, put in only 1 stick of Corsair, accept the change, see what happens.
