trouard
Hi Guys, I just bought 1 stick of Corsair CMX1024-3200C2 for my Asus A7V600 and I have it working fine at Cas 2.5 3 3 6. Why it can't run with my AMD 3200XP+ Barton at Cas 2 I would like to know. Also I was wondering if I bought another stick of the same memory and put it in memory slot 3, do you think it would work and work as dual channel? Is it really worth the extra money to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.... Ralph
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 12, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 12, 2007 The AMD XP Platform was not running at Cas 2.0 at that time with most MB's running a 200 FSB CPU, so Cas 2.5 is suggested. The MB you have is not dual channel so it may or may not run two modules at DDR400 but Cas 2.5-3-3-7 would be suggest it miss-matched modules at 2.75 Volts.
